Trying to find ways to use my non-financial academic creds to transition to work in sustainable finance research.
There’s an understandable hesitation to equate short-term performance with long-term performance. Yet, in the current unique situation, we don’t have data on anything but the short term. Why the cautious perspective then?
How about a start up?Would this be a good moment to undertake that project?Where would you recommend to get finance? Is there any entity that might prioritize investments on Sust. start-ups?
What role can the financial sector play to push for more sustainability? How about novel economic systems?
What / when is the role of the investor community to highlight to the market and the broader community the importance of esg performance to enable a world to build back better ?

Question to the WBCSD: Why are ExxonMobil, or Chevron (amongst other fossil-fuel intensive companies) considered part of the ESG outperformers in North America? Do you also include oil and gas companies in other regions (BP, Shell, Total in Europe, and so on elsewhere)? Is the ESG label credible?
WBCSD will host a Virtual Event Series on Governance next week on May 20. We will hear from Board members on their role and reactions to COVID19
Could the speakers recommend trusted public resources (books, journals, websites, etc) that would help the audience better understand the nuances of your work in sustainable investment (in normal times, or under the current situation)? General or specific resources are appreciated. Thank you

449 are indexes, 152 are ranking and 45 are rating organisation
